As the story goes...the Earth is filled almost to the center with Gnomes, a people of small stature, the guardians of earth treasures, of mines, and of precious stones. They are ingenious, friends of humans, and gentle. They bring good luck and never ask any other reward of their services, other than the honor of being of help.

These beautiful, smooth, absorbent stone coasters from CoasterStone (made in the USA) are a little larger than standard coasters - each is 4 1/4" square and 1/4" deep - and have a full cork backing to protect furniture. They absorb heat and moisture so they won't stick to your glass and can be used as a mini hot plate. The background color is a neutral ivory/bone shade to coordinate with most decor.

For over three decades, artist Ellen's boating, sailing, and kayaking adventures on the Maine coast inspired her to create a wide range of artwork in a variety of media including shells, driftwood, sea glass, oil paint, and beach stones. During her beachcombing years she collected hundreds of naturally formed heart-shaped rocks.

Love Rocks Me® officially began as her tribute to the great state of Maine in 2010 when she created an outline of the state with love rocks and photographed it for print. She arranges the rocks and photographs each design outdoors at her home near Casco Bay.

Our berry bowl offers an elegant, functional solution to bring berries from the garden to your kitchen table. A plate is included to capture excess water from rinsing.

Davis Pottery is handmade in York Harbor, Maine by Chris Davis. Davis Pottery is lead-free, ovenproof and may be used in a microwave oven and washed in a dishwasher. For years of enjoyment avoid extreme temperature changes.

Available in a variety of colors. Color pictured might not necessarily be available.

Each frame is a one-of-a-kind piece, made with sea glass and pieces of drift wood that Amanda picks up from local beaches such as, Back Cove, Fort Williams State Park, Willard Beach, South Portland, Scarborough and Crescent Beach.

About the artist: Amanda Pray grew up on Casco Bay, which is located on the southern coast of Maine.  When she met her husband who is a local lobsterman he has only helped fuel her artistic dreams. They are the quintessential Maine couple and have two daughters Pearl and Cora. And of course they have a fish, it's a goldfish named "water".  

At 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" with a 1/4" depth, it's a nice quality magnet that's New England made. Each magnet is packaged in a protective cellophane sleeve and shipped with love from the coast of Maine.

The Raw Maine Wildflower Honey is produced by happy bees in Southern Maine. The bees have the opportunity to forage a broad spectrum of nectars that contribute to this honey's wonderfully floral taste. Since it has many different nectar constituents, it is a great choice for alleviating seasonal allergies too. 

We like to think of honey like wine where the flora, region, climate and health of the bees dictate the flavor profiles throughout the season. Truly a beautiful thing. In Maine we are lucky to have diverse and abundant flora from May to October that the bees can feast on. 

This honey is “raw” which means it comes straight from the honeycomb. This means no pasteurization, therefore all the beneficial nutrients of the honey remain intact and ready for your benefit. Straight from the hive to the jar. The nectar of the Earth!

If honey crystallizes, gently warm jar until it melts. Crystallizing honey is not a bad thing! It actually means that you have raw honey :)

Barbara Walsh, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and award-winning author, writes an inspiring story about our most senior lobster trapper in Maine, and maybe even the world! Her book tells the tale of 103-year-old Virginia Oliver who began catching lobsters off Maine's coast when she was a little girl.

About the artist: Elizabeth Benotti of Eliot, Maine, the artist behind these porcelain pieces was born and raised in Massachusetts before being called west to earn a BFA at the University of Colorado in Boulder. It was there that she took her first ceramics class. It didn’t take long to fall in love with the material, process and community this medium fosters. Upon graduation, She was accepted into the Resident Artists program at the Mendocino Art Center. In a small town nestled on the northern coast of California, she worked alongside a small group of dedicated artists and explored the relationships between everyday objects, color, image and form.
