As a lover of the sea and nature, Lee Spiller from Effingham, NH has long been drawn to the rocky shore and beautiful islands of New England. Summer's wildflowers blooming above cobblestones beaches inspired his stone flower vases. Lee carefully selects the stones from remote beaches for his iconic stone lamps. In an age of disposable items, Lee is proud to present lasting pieces. They are also great for displaying air plants!

An ingenious French-country way to keep your butter soft and spreadable without going rancid. Originating in the late 1800s, this method involves adding cold water to the base of the keeper so that, coupled with anywhere from 1/2 a stick to a 3/4 a stick of butter, it creates an airtight seal. Butter will last on the counter for over a week.

Handcrafted seaglass trees by a local Maine artisan. Each tree is 100% unique.

These beautiful, smooth, absorbent stone coasters from CoasterStone (made in the USA) are a little larger than standard coasters - each is 4 1/4" square and 1/4" deep - and have a full cork backing to protect furniture. They absorb heat and moisture so they won't stick to your glass and can be used as a mini hot plate. The background color is a neutral ivory/bone shade to coordinate with most decor.

For over three decades, artist Ellen's boating, sailing, and kayaking adventures on the Maine coast inspired her to create a wide range of artwork in a variety of media including shells, driftwood, sea glass, oil paint, and beach stones. During her beachcombing years she collected hundreds of naturally formed heart-shaped rocks.

Love Rocks Me® officially began as her tribute to the great state of Maine in 2010 when she created an outline of the state with love rocks and photographed it for print. She arranges the rocks and photographs each design outdoors at her home near Casco Bay.

About the artist: Alan Claude greatly admires the American realist painter Edward Hopper because of his brilliant use of light and shadow, along with stark empty spaces. Other influences were early 20th century poster artists and pop artist Robert Indiana. In August 2004, Alan and his wife Erin visited with him at his Vinyl Haven island home. Robert Indiana gave them a private tour of his works and discussed art and life. The visit inspired Alan Claude to search further to find his own “voice” or style in art. Alan works in various mediums including pen & ink, photography, and digital illustration.
